We are thrilled to announce the launch of the St. Francis Friendly Box Cricket Tournamen'25 !

Date & Venue: Sunday 2nd February 2025 at Holy Family School, Lower Ground 8 am onwards.
 

The Intention: To bring together on one platform the various communities of Holy Family viz: the school, the junior college, PTA, Teachers and faculty, Parish youth, Snehasdan, Vinayalaya priests and noviciates, and of course the Ex-Students. Expectation is to bring a synergy among the various communities leading to network effectively within all the groups at Holy Family, doing work for the greater good.

The Invitees: We invite below groups (in no particular order) :

• Holy Family School (8th / 9th . 10th standard) students

• Holy Family Junior College (11th / 12th standard) students

• Holy Family School & College teaching & non-teaching staff

• Holy Family Parents' & Teachers' Association

• Holy Family Parish Committee & Sub-committees

• Vinayalaya Jesuits & Deacons

• Snehasadan students & Ex-Students

• Holy Family Ex-Students

The Format:

1. The box cricket tournament (underarm & tennis ball) is open to all above groups- age, gender, religion & caste no bar

2. This is a friendly tournament; hence no entry fee will be charged, and no prize money awarded.

3. Participants can register by using the link mentioned here. Only individual player entries CLICK HERE TO REGISTER 

4. Players from all the groups will be randomly mixed into teams of 8 players (it's not a competition amongst the groups), and play the tournament in a league cum knockout format.

5. Registrations on first cum first serve basis. Limited entries. 

6. School lower ground will be divided into 2 halves for 2 box pitches. 

7. Max. 4 or 5 overs per side. Max. 2 or 3 matches for each team in league stage. Plus semi finals & finals (to be finalized after registrations are closed)

1. Tournament date : Sun, 2nd Feb'25. Reporting time 8 am. Venue: Holy Family School, lower ground. 

2. Player registration will be open till Thu 30th Jan'25 or till registrations are received to form 8 teams

3. Team listing & draws will be shared by Sat, 1st Feb'25 evening
